Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Operate anode furnaces to produce high-quality molten metal.
Monitor and control the refining pyrometallurgical process, ensuring optimal conditions for slag formation.
Conduct quality control checks on castings, including defect management and analysis of slag and melt samples.
Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues related to process control systems (DCS operation) and oxidation/reduction processes.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all aspects of anode caster operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

4-8 years of experience in anode casting or similar role in the metals industry.
Diploma holder in Chemical or Metallurgy field; knowledge of relevant theories and principles preferred.
Strong understanding of anode furnace operation, refining pyrometallurgical process, DCS system operation, slag handling, molten metal handling, and quality control procedures.
