Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop sheet metal components for automotive domains including:

  • Upper body

  • Closures

  • Underbody

  • Cargo

  • Body fittings

• 3D models

• Develop design concepts, perform feasibility checks, and create parametric models.

• Finalize subsystem designs ensuring alignment with styling, manufacturing, and performance requirements.

• Understand and apply knowledge of BIW material types, grades, and manufacturing processes.

• Ensure compliance with structural performance benchmarks and homologation requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, styling, and validation teams.

Required Skills

• CATIA V5

• Sheet Metal Design

• BIW design

• Ability to interpret engineering specifications and deliver high-quality design outputs.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Understanding of vehicle architecture and subsystem integration.

• Experience in automotive OEM/Tier 1 environments.
