Endoscopy Technician

Job Description

Setting up the endoscopy room with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment before procedures. Assisting with patient positioning, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures. Providing technical support to physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures, including handling instruments and maintaining a sterile field Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing endoscopes and other equipment according to established protocols. Maintaining accurate records of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance. Ability to operate and maintain endoscopy equipment, understand sterilization protocols, and handle specimens correctly. Understanding and adherence to infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections.
