Endoscopy Technician

As a Sterilization Technician, your role involves sterilizing and preparing rooms and equipment, such as scopes, before and after procedures as directed. You will support and assist physicians and registered nurses with procedures, verifying proper equipment functioning and performing safety checks. Additionally, you will maintain and/or repair endoscopic equipment and collect and deliver specimens collected during procedures while ensuring the field remains sterile. Key Responsibilities: - Sterilize and prepare rooms and equipment for procedures - Support physicians and registered nurses during procedures - Verify proper equipment functioning and perform safety checks - Maintain and repair endoscopic equipment - Collect and deliver specimens while maintaining sterility - Assist in patient intake, transport, paperwork, and recordkeeping - Place devices to monitor vital signs on patients - Distribute information at in-service training sessions - Validate and refresh basic professional skills through in-service trainings - Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Required: - Education: Diploma preferred - Experience: 1 year total work experience, 1 year in endoscopy preferred - Language: Proficiency in Malayalam preferred In addition to your responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to benefit from: - Commuter assistance - Flexible schedule - Leave encashment - Paid sick time - Provident Fund If you are interested in this position in Palakkad, please share why you are keen to work there.
