Responsibilities for HVAC sales engineer Are determined to become experts in the HVAC field Continuous professional development through company-provided and on the job training, including, but not limited to, business and finance, marketing, sales process and strategy, and public speaking Coordinate and/or participate in trade shows and marketing/sales seminars Pricing equipment In charge of developing new sales business and further develop the relationship with existing clients Evaluation of market potential, finding sales opportunities in other related sectors as well (such as food and beverage processing, process cooling) Estimate job bids and prepare proposals with contractors, architects and building owners Coordinate with vendors and sub-contractors Complete sales calls to generate new business and build on existing relationships Present solutions to customers for consideration Qualifications for HVAC sales engineer • MBA, BBA bachelor’s degree in engineering, Diploma or a related field. Minimum 2 YEARS TO 5yrs B to B successful professional sales experience Familiarity with construction industry or piping business a plus or demonstrate the ability to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills Self-motivated, independent, aggressive and results oriented Must be willing to reside in the respective territory, possess own vehicle, travel to remote project locations Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new programs Ability to handle high call volume of customer inquiries – call center environment Able to work well in fast-paced business casual office environment
