EMC Electromagnetic Compatibility

As an EMC Electromagnetic Compatibility professional, you will be responsible for investigating electromagnetic emissions from cables or other lines into the mains or other equipment. Your role will also involve analyzing electromagnetic fields emitted by devices into the environment and ensuring compliance with limits for interference emissions according to standards such as EN 55032 and CISPR 11. In this position, you will conduct various tests including ESD (electrostatic discharge) to protect against electrical discharges, Burst/EFT tests to assess resistance to fast transient interference, Surge tests to test immunity to overvoltages, RF radiation tests to evaluate resistance to radio frequency interference, and Magnetic field immunity tests to gauge tolerance to magnetic fields. Your expertise should include knowledge of EMC - electromagnetic compatibility, Spice Tools such as LTspice and PSPICE, component and system-level understanding, EMC Engineering Level proficiency, and basic knowledge of power electronics like B6 bridge, flyback, DCDC-converter. To qualify for this role, you should hold a BE/ M.E./B. Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automobile Engineering from a recognized university.
