Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Embroidery Designer with a strong understanding of Western wear aesthetics to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for embellishment design, an eye for detail, and the ability to create custom embroidery patterns that enhance the authenticity and visual appeal of our Western-themed collections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design original embroidery motifs and embellishments that reflect the Western wear style, including florals, geometric patterns, yokes, fringe placements, and heritage-inspired elements.
  • Translate design concepts and mood boards into embroidery designs suitable for production.
  • Work closely with the fashion design team to ensure embellishment designs complement garment silhouettes, fabrics, and overall collections.
  • Create detailed embroidery tech packs and artwork with accurate measurements, color codes, stitch types, and thread counts.
  • Develop embroidery placements for various garment types, including shirts, dresses, jackets, denim, and accessories.
  • Collaborate with sample makers, suppliers, and production teams to ensure quality and feasibility of embroidery designs.
  • Stay updated on trends in embroidery, trims, and Western fashion to keep designs current while preserving brand identity.
  • Revise and refine embroidery designs based on feedback and sampling outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an embroidery designer in fashion, preferably with a focus on Western wear or embellished apparel.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing original embroidery designs and embellishments.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and embroidery software such as Wilcom, Pulse, or similar.
  • Excellent understanding of textile behavior, garment construction, and embroidery techniques (machine and hand embroidery).
  • Strong attention to detail, color sense, and composition.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
  • Experience working with domestic and overseas embroidery vendors.
  • Familiarity with Western wear history, motifs, and regional style variations

Job Types: Part-time, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹1,461,777.96 per year

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
