Embedded Software Engineer

As an Embedded Software Engineer at ETG in Coimbatore, your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing embedded software applications with a focus on wireless connectivity and communication protocols. - Interfacing with cross-functional teams (Hardware, Systems, Validation) to ensure end-to-end functionality. - Debugging software issues and supporting integration testing. - Ensuring software is developed following relevant standards (e.g., MISRA) and processes (e.g., ASPICE). - Managing code versioning and maintaining documentation for software modules. - Optimizing software for memory and performance across hardware platforms. - Developing and implementing diagnostics features for real-time monitoring and issue resolution. Your qualifications should meet the following criteria: - B.E/B.Tech in ECE/EEE/EIE - M.E/M.Tech in ECE/EEE/EIE You should also have: - Strong programming skills in Embedded C. - Hands-on experience in Wireless Communication protocols such as BLE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LTE. - Experience working with Embedded Operating Systems like Android, Linux, FreeRTOS. - Familiarity with software coding standards and structured software development processes. - Strong skills in software debugging, build processes, and version control systems. - Working knowledge of C++ is an added advantage. - In-depth understanding of multi-core systems, especially ARM Cortex controllers. - Proficiency in one or more communication protocols such as CAN, UART, Ethernet, USB, SPI. - Experience in Memory Management, including memory allocation, data encryption, and flash memory handling. - Skills in socket programming, including scripting and code development for client/server communication. - Experience with communication protocols like HTTP, TCP/IP, MQTT, FTP, etc. - Exposure to QUECTEL GSM modules is a plus. - Capable of developing device diagnostic logics and self-test features.,
