Embedded QA Test Engineer

Acclivis Technologies is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer with a proficient command over Delphi programming environments, backend database systems, and modern frontend and scripting technologies. As a Senior Software Developer, you will be involved in development, maintenance, testing, and mentoring activities within a collaborative and Agile environment. We are urgently looking for a detail-oriented Embedded QA Test Engineer to join our dynamic team at Pune Office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating embedded systems integrating sensor data acquisition, PID control loops, and actuator control systems. This role requires strong expertise in embedded system testing, sensor interfacing, and debugging real-time systems. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and automated scripts for embedded firmware. - Validate analog and digital sensor inputs (temperature, pressure, flow, level) and DAC-based actuator systems. - Test PID loop functionality, including overshoot and settling time, and simulate sensor signals using lab tools. - Conduct system-level validation under varying load conditions and validate signal conditioning techniques. - Execute robustness and edge-case tests, collaborate with development teams, and document detailed test reports. - Participate in the improvement of testing methodologies, frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines. Required Skills: - Hands-on experience in testing embedded systems with ADC/DAC sensor interfaces. - Proficiency in SPI, I2C, UART protocols and strong understanding of control systems and PID tuning concepts. - Skills in using lab instruments like oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer, and signal generators. - Knowledge of embedded C firmware, system-level behavior, and documentation. - Familiarity with SD card/EEPROM-based logging and validation, and experience with CI/CD tools such as Git and Jenkins. Preferred Skills: - Exposure to industrial automation systems or fluid control products. - Familiarity with communication protocols like Modbus, CAN, or MQTT and experience working on Linux-based embedded systems or RTOS environments. Education: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
