At GalaxEye Space, we are building advanced remote sensing satellites and researching various aspects of remote sensing technology.As a member of the Embedded Systems Team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the electronic systems that form the backbone of our satellite missions, including Electrical Power Systems, Data Acquisition Boards, and On-Board Computers.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop optimized electrical power systems (power generation, distribution, and storage).
- Handle design, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing of high-reliability electronics for airborne and space missions.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to determine hardware requirements.
- Work closely with firmware engineers to ensure hardware-software integration.
- Develop and maintain schematics and PCB layouts for embedded hardware systems.
- Select and source components for embedded hardware.
- Coordinate with partners for fabrication and testing in compliance with aerospace standards (AS9100).
- Contribute to design discussions with hardware and firmware teams.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in ECE, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
- 35 years of hands-on experience in electronics system development, from requirement definition to design, validation, and production.
- Strong conceptual knowledge of analog and power electronics.
- Experience with military/space-grade PCB layout and fabrication.
- Solid understanding of timing principles, clock domain crossing, and timing closure.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
Hands-on Experience In
- Power budgeting and component selection.
- Battery pack design, testing, and implementation.
- Solar panel MPPT and battery charger design.
- PCB layout design and fabrication.
- EMC/EMI compliant circuit design.
- Processor peripheral interfaces (UART, I2C, SPI, PCI-Express, USB, MIPI, LVDS, DDR).
- Using lab equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
Additional Requirements

- Strong creative thinking and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of PCB design and assembly standards such as AS9100 preferred.
- Willingness to learn and stay updated with the latest technologies.

Desired Skills And Experience
- 24 years of relevant experience in building, simulating, verifying, or testing FPGA-based digital designs.
- Knowledge of hardware description languages (Verilog/VHDL).
- Experience interfacing with high-speed ADCs and DACs.
- Strong understanding of computer architecture, logic design, and serial interfaces (SPI, I2C, LVDS, etc.).
- Experience with Vivado.
- Familiarity with C/C++ and Python programming.
- Experience working with SoC, FPGA, and microcontrollers.
