Embedded Engineer

As an Embedded Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and testing embedded software for specific projects to ensure top-notch performance, reliability, and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and debugging embedded software for various microcontroller platforms. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications. - Implementing communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART) for interfacing with peripherals and external devices. - Optimizing code for memory usage, power consumption, and real-time performance. - Conducting unit testing and integration testing for software quality assurance. - Performing hardware-software co-verification and troubleshooting. - Documenting design decisions, code, and test procedures. - Keeping abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends in embedded systems. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in embedded systems development. - Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C, and C++ for embedded applications. - Hands-on experience with microcontroller architectures such as ARM Cortex-M, AVR, and PIC. - Familiarity with embedded development tools and IDEs like Keil, IAR, MPLAB, and Arduino. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. - Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) is a plus. - Desirable experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux.
