Embedded Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Seeking a skilled Peripheral Developer to design, implement, and optimize software and hardware interfaces for embedded systems. This role focuses on developing drivers and communication protocols for peripherals such as sensors, displays, memory devices, touchpad, trackpad and communication modules (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain low-level drivers for various peripherals.
Interface with hardware teams to ensure seamless integration of peripherals. Optimize I/O performance and ensure real-time responsiveness. Debug and troubleshoot hardware-software interactions. Collaborate with firmware and system engineers to define peripheral requirements. Validate and test peripheral functionality across platforms. Document design specifications, code, and test results. Support post-production issues related to peripheral integration.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Assembly for embedded systems. Experience with microcontroller architectures (ARM Cortex-M, AVR, etc.). Familiarity with communication protocols: SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB. Hands-on experience with debugging tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG. Knowledge of Device Driver programming and interrupt-driven programming on Linux Kernel.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with PCB design and schematic reading.
Exposure to hardware abstraction layers and device tree configurations. Understanding of EMI/EMC compliance and signal integrity. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience with scripting languages (Python, Shell) for automation.
