Strong C programming skills for microcontrollers (ARM Cortex M and A series) Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently Knowledge and experience with real-time operating systems (e.g., AUTOSAR OS, FreeRTOS, Zephyr) Electronics knowledge (e.g., reading schematics) and basic troubleshooting skills on hardware development boards Experience using test equipment (Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, CAN analysers, debuggers, etc.) to debug the hardware-software interface Experience with making technical documentation such as Architecture Design, User Manual Traceability to the system/software requirement specification Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Git, Subversion Familiarity with requirement management tools like DOORS9, DOORS-NG Knowledgeable about Agile software development including continuous integration and deployment Self-motivated and focused on continuous improvements in tools, processes, and methodologies Strong communication skills Natural team player with a passion for learning and gaining experience Good to Have: Experience with application software development for automotive RADAR systems Knowledge and experience with automotive software functional safety aspects Experience in other programming languages (C++, Python, C#, Java) Knowledge of MATLAB and MATLAB scripting Knowledge of AutoSAR and ASPICE processes Experience with inter-processor communication software stack development Knowledge of Enterprise Architect for software architecture design Experience with DOORS9 and DOORS-NG for requirements management Roles and Responsibilities: Develop test applications in C, C++ to test the interfaces between various subsystems Collaborate with software and system integration teams to handle product diversities and resolve system issues Define or update integration and testing strategies Drive the software integration process (CI/CD, DevOps) to ensure high-quality deliverables Automate manual operations by developing reusable tools Work with quality teams to prepare documents for external automotive-specific audits Track deliverables and coordinate with multiple project managers to deliver SDKs to customers Coordinate with HW/SW architects to understand product specifications Collaborate with CM/BM teams to enhance build and CI strategies
