As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining embedded software for bare-metal, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and Linux platforms. Your primary focus will be on developing automated test suites to ensure efficient testing processes. It is essential to gain a clear understanding of requirements and create simple, maintainable designs that are easily testable. Collaboration with hardware engineers and application software developers is crucial to effectively implementing requirements. - Strong problem-solving abilities and proficiency in Embedded C/C++ programming are required. - Expertise in communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, etc., is essential. - Experience in bare-metal programming for various microcontroller architectures like 8051, AVR (excluding Arduino), PIC, ARM, etc., is highly desirable. - Familiarity with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and JTAG is necessary. - Comfort with analyzing and comprehending hardware schematics is expected.
