Role Overview: As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining embedded software for bare-metal, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and Linux platforms. Your primary focus will be on developing automated test suites to ensure efficient testing processes. It is essential to gain a clear understanding of requirements and create simple, maintainable designs that are easily testable. Collaboration with hardware engineers and application software developers is crucial to effectively implementing requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for bare-metal, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and Linux platforms - Develop automated test suites to ensure efficient testing processes - Gain a clear understanding of requirements and create simple, maintainable designs that are easily testable - Collaborate with hardware engineers and application software developers to effectively implement requirements - Utilize strong problem-solving abilities and proficiency in Embedded C/C++ programming - Have expertise in communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, etc. - Experience in bare-metal programming for various microcontroller architectures like 8051, AVR (excluding Arduino), PIC, ARM, etc. - Familiarity with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and JTAG - Analyze and comprehend hardware schematics Qualifications Required: - Over 4 years of experience in Information Technology, particularly in embedded software development - Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ programming - Expertise in communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, etc. - Experience in bare-metal programming for various microcontroller architectures like 8051, AVR, PIC, ARM, etc. - Familiarity with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and JTAG Additional Company Details (if any): Join our team in Bangalore and contribute to innovative projects that push the boundaries of embedded systems technology.,
