Job Description We are seeking a versatile Marketing Manager who can oversee all aspects of our marketing efforts. This 360° role will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies across multiple channels, including performance marketing, content creation, social media management, and growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mental well-being and helping combat loneliness while having a broad skill set that spans all marketing disciplines. Stipend: 7-10K Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives Create detailed marketing plans with timelines, budgets, and KPIs Identify target audiences and develop user personas for our connection platform Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities Work with leadership to define positioning and messaging that resonates with people seeking connections Performance Marketing: Manage digital advertising campaigns across platforms (Google, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) Optimize campaign performance for user acquisition and retention Implement A/B testing to improve conversion rates and user engagement Analyze campaign metrics and adjust strategies accordingly Develop retargeting campaigns to bring back users who showed interest Content Marketing: Create and oversee content strategy focused on mental well-being and meaningful connections Develop compelling content for various channels (blog, social media, email, app) Ensure content effectively communicates our values and benefits Implement SEO best practices to improve organic reach Establish a consistent, empathetic brand voice across all content Social Media Management: Develop and implement social media strategies across multiple platforms Create engaging social content that showcases the benefits of meaningful connections Build and nurture online communities around mental well-being Manage day-to-day social media activities and community engagement Analyze social performance metrics and optimize accordingly Growth Marketing: Identify and implement user acquisition and retention strategies Optimize user onboarding and activation flows Develop and manage referral programs to drive organic growth Analyze user behavior data to identify opportunities for improved engagement Implement retention strategies to reduce churn and increase user satisfaction Ownership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, tech, operations) Provide regular reports and insights to company leadership Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement Requirements Understanding of performance marketing and digital advertising platforms Understanding the content creation and content strategy development Experience in social media marketing and community building Knowledge of growth marketing techniques and user acquisition strategies Experience with marketing analytics tools and data-driven decision making Strong project management and organizational skills Good written and verbal communication abilities Creative problem-solving skills and strategic thinking Genuine interest in mental well-being and helping combat loneliness Nice to Have Experience marketing apps or digital platforms focused on connections/communities Understanding of psychology or behavioral science principles Experience with subscription-based or freemium business models Background in health/wellness or mental well-being marketing Knowledge of video/audio content creation and promotion Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools Familiarity with UX/UI principles as they relate to marketing Show more Show less
