Job Description

As a Facilities Control Technician at Micron Technology, your role involves performing maintenance and support engineering works in the fields of control equipment and systems on site. You will receive necessary guidance and direction from the Facilities organization to achieve departmental, site, and corporate goals. Your responsibilities include: - Adhering to the company's environmental safety health policy and procedures, standard operating procedures, risk assessment, good housekeeping standards, and quality policy while performing work. - Planning, scheduling, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance work activities on control equipment, gas detection equipment, CCTV, fire alarm equipment, and systems. - Participating in troubleshooting system abnormalities and assisting or leading system recovery. - Conducting root cause analysis for control equipment and system abnormalities and executing corrective and preventive actions for continual improvement. - Utilizing computer-based software to document and analyze maintenance work order records, equipment history, and project tracking. - Maintaining equipment and system maintenance records for work history traceability. - Tracking and monitoring equipment spare parts and consumable inventory. - Providing feedback on detailed design concepts and specifications for the installation of new capital equipment and system expansion projects. - Supervising site installation of new equipment and system expansion projects during critical milestones. - Coordinating, sponsoring, and supervising contract service providers to perform work activities in accordance with defined scopes of work and system requirements. Qualifications Required: - Diploma in Instrumentation/Control engineering or equivalent related field or experience preferred. - 5-7 years of experience in Semiconductor, Electronics, Pharma, or similar manufacturing industries. - Detailed understanding of facility instruments, gas detectors, variable speed drives, fire alarm systems, and their working principles. - Good understanding of electrical equipment, PLC wiring concepts, and interfacing with instruments and gas detectors. - Ability to execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs for plant instrumentation/gas detection. - Knowledge of calibration and measurement tools, basic PLC programming, system schematic drawings, and wiring diagrams. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment with various professional levels.
