Elevator Technician

As an Elevator Technician / Elevator Erector, you will be a valuable member of the project team responsible for the ongoing erection and installation of elevators. Your main duties will include assembling, aligning, and testing all mechanical, electrical, and safety components of the elevator system according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: - Carry out elevator erection and installation based on approved drawings, manuals, and instructions. - Assemble, align, and install rails, cars, counterweights, motors, guide shoes, and controllers. - Perform wiring and electrical connections for control panels, switches, safety circuits, and drive units. - Ensure precise leveling and alignment of elevator shafts and cars. - Test and commission the elevator in adherence to safety codes and performance standards. - Conduct troubleshooting and adjustments as necessary during installation. - Collaborate closely with supervisors, safety officers, and fellow technicians to ensure project completion is smooth and timely. - Adhere strictly to safety protocols and site regulations throughout the installation process. Required Skills & Qualifications: - ITI/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent trade certification. - Demonstrated practical experience in elevator erection, assembly, and installation. - Proficiency in elevator safety codes, electrical systems, and mechanical assembly. - Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams effectively. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. - Physical fitness and capability to work in shaft environments and at heights.
