Job Title: B License Holder – Elevator Installation & Maintenance

Location: Irungattukottai, Chennai

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in elevator installation, commissioning, or maintenance

Qualification: Valid “B” License issued by Tamil Nadu Electrical Licensing Board

ITI/Diploma in Electrical or Electronics discipline preferred

Role Overview:

The B License Holder will be responsible for safe and compliant electrical installation, testing, and maintenance of elevators and home lifts. The role involves supervising a team of technicians and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and technical standards during installation and service work.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and execute electrical wiring, earthing, control system connections, and panel terminations for elevator systems

Conduct testing and commissioning in line with Indian Standards and company procedures

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of elevators to ensure safe and efficient operation

Verify proper installation practices, insulation resistance, and continuity tests before energization

Ensure compliance with Tamil Nadu Electrical Inspectorate (TNEI) requirements and support inspection readiness

Maintain accurate service and inspection records as per statutory and internal formats

Guide and train junior technicians on safe electrical practices and troubleshooting

Coordinate with project and service teams to ensure timely job completion and quality compliance

Report any nonconformity or unsafe condition to the project or safety head

Skills and Competencies:

Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, control panels, VFDs, and elevator safety circuits

Experience in wiring, load testing, and troubleshooting elevator control systems

Understanding of IS 14671, IS 15330, and related elevator electrical standards

Ability to supervise site works, maintain discipline, and ensure compliance without administrative functions

Commitment to workplace safety, PPE usage, and statutory regulations

Work Type: Full-time, field-based (Installation & Service sites across Chennai and nearby regions)

Preferred Candidate:

Technically skilled professional holding valid B License with solid hands-on experience in elevator projects, able to lead technical work on-site and ensure complete electrical compliance.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
