Electronics Technician

As an experienced SMD (Surface-Mount Device) LED Repair Technician joining our technical team, your role will primarily involve diagnosing and repairing SMD LEDs to ensure high-quality repair services. Your responsibilities will include: - Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: - Inspecting and diagnosing issues in SMD LEDs and related electronic components. - Using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and malfunctions. - Repair and Maintenance: - Performing repairs on SMD LED circuits and modules, including soldering and component replacement. - Maintaining and servicing various LED products to ensure optimal performance. - Replacing defective components such as LEDs, resistors, capacitors, and drivers. - Quality Control: - Testing repaired units to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. - Conducting final inspections of repaired products to ensure functionality and reliability. - Technical Documentation: - Maintaining detailed records of repairs, including steps taken and outcomes. - Documenting any recurring issues and suggesting improvements to product designs or repair processes. - Tool and Equipment Management: - Ensuring all tools and repair equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition. - Calibrating and updating diagnostic equipment as needed. - Customer Support: - Providing technical support and advice to customers regarding LED product issues. - Communicating effectively with customers to explain repair procedures and outcomes. - Team Collaboration: - Working closely with the technical team to improve repair techniques and processes. - Sharing knowledge and training junior technicians on SMD LED repair procedures. Qualifications: - Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in electronics preferred. - Experience: Proven experience in repairing SMD LEDs and electronic components. - Skills: Strong understanding of electronic circuits, excellent soldering skills, ability to read schematics, problem-solving skills, good manual dexterity, and effective communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with various types of LED products and knowledge of ESD safety procedures. - Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for electronic repairs. You will be working in a workshop or repair facility, requiring occasional lifting of heavy objects and the use of specialized tools.
