Electronics & Controls Engineer

As an Electronics & Controls Engineer at Backstage Dynamics, your role will involve designing, prototyping, and testing electronic and embedded control systems for new products. You will collaborate closely with R&D and manufacturing teams to deliver reliable, production-ready solutions for mechatronic and automation applications. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and test embedded control systems integrating sensors, actuators, and power electronics. - Develop firmware (C/C++/Python) for microcontrollers and embedded boards. - Create and review schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams. - Conduct hardware bring-up, debugging, and system validation. - Implement and tune control algorithms for motion or automation systems. - Support prototype fabrication, testing, and documentation (BOMs, test reports, manuals). **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Robotics Engineering. - Experience with microcontrollers, embedded programming, and circuit design. - Proficient in C/C++ and familiar with Python. - Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, soldering, and basic prototyping tools. - Knowledge of communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, etc.).
