Electromechanical Technician

As an Electromechanical Technician at Magic Billion in Belgium, you will be responsible for performing preventive and curative maintenance, troubleshooting of production machines, infrastructure, and utilities. Additionally, you will participate in improvement projects, lead small projects, and supervise fellow technicians in their professional growth and handling complex issues. Your primary responsibilities will include independently performing electromechanical maintenance on production equipment, documenting work, creating technical manuals or instructions as needed, providing creative solutions in unexpected situations, interpreting technical plans and drawings, and conducting preventive maintenance on complex machinery using mechanical tools. You will also be expected to (dis)assemble, overhaul, and adjust devices, maintain hydraulic tools, work with mechanical measuring equipment, fine mechanical systems and components, diagnose machine issues during operation, and provide short-term fixes as well as long-term solutions. Furthermore, you will lead small projects, coordinate with external suppliers for maintenance or repairs, and supervise or train less experienced technicians or external workers. Basic programming or adjustment of control electronics for simple cases will also be part of your responsibilities. To be eligible for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical/ Electric engineering, along with 4-5 years of relevant work experience. The ideal age range for applicants is between 25 to 40 years, and the position is open to male candidates. In terms of compensation and benefits, the salary offered for this role is 2400 Euros per month. Additionally, you will receive reimbursement for a one-way flight ticket, lunch vouchers worth 4 EUR per workday, medical insurance, and group insurance.
