Electrician

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician to manage and maintain the electrical systems and infrastructure within the school campus. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical repair, maintenance, and safety protocols in an institutional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine electrical maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting across the school.
• Install, inspect, and repair wiring, lighting, fans, switches, sockets, and distribution boards.
• Ensure proper functioning of generators, inverters, UPS, and backup power systems.
• Conduct regular checks on AC units, classroom projectors, and smart boards (if applicable).
• Maintain electrical inventory and report any material or equipment requirements.
• Ensure all electrical systems comply with safety regulations and school policies.
• Coordinate with external vendors or contractors when needed.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies or complaints reported by staff.
• Maintain a log of all maintenance and repair work carried out.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in schools or institutions.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of fire safety and electrical hazard management.
• Physically fit and able to work in indoor and outdoor conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
