Responsibilities of a Maintenance Helper:
Provides support to skilled maintenance technicians and engineers, assisting with a variety of tasks related to facility maintenance, equipment, and machinery maintenance. This includes performing routine maintenance, material handling, assisting with repairs, conducting inspections and preventing maintenance, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Skills and Qualifications
A good understanding of basic mechanical principles is helpful, familiarity with hand and power tools is essential.
Helpers should be able to identify and troubleshoot basic maintenance issues.
Effective communication with supervisors and other team members is important.
Maintenance helpers work as part of a team, so the ability to collaborate effectively is essential.
Being reliable and punctual is important for ensuring timely completion of tasks
