Electrician

Job Purpose:

To ensure uninterrupted operation of spinning machinery by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all electrical systems and components as per safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preventive Maintenance:
• Perform routine electrical maintenance of spinning machines (e.g., Schlafhorst, Rieter, Saurer, etc.).
• Maintain lighting, power distribution, and panel boards in the spinning section.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs:
• Diagnose faults in motors, inverters, sensors, control panels, and PLC systems.
• Attend breakdown calls and resolve electrical issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Installation & Upgrades:
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new OE machines and electrical panels.
• Support energy-saving and automation upgrade initiatives.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain electrical logbooks, maintenance records, and spare part usage.
• Report major breakdowns and suggest preventive measures.
• Safety Compliance:
• Follow electrical safety standards and ensure safe working practices.
• Use PPE and lockout/tagout procedures as needed.
• Coordination:
• Coordinate with mechanical maintenance team during machine overhauls.
• Liaise with vendors for electrical components and services.

Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Electrician Trade
• Minimum 0 – 2 Years Experience in Textile Industry preferred

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of machine electrical systems and control circuits
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, maintenance software entry)
• Team player with good problem-solving skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
