Role Overview: As an Installation & Maintenance technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and related equipment. You will need to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics, as well as inspect electrical components for safety and functionality. Additionally, performing routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment will be part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices such as voltmeters, ammeters, and oscilloscopes. - Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools. - Respond to emergency electrical repair requests to minimize downtime. - Ensure all work follows local, state, and national electrical codes (e.g., NEC). - Adhere to safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). - Maintain accurate maintenance and repair logs. Qualifications Required: - Relevant experience in installing and maintaining electrical systems. - Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics. - Familiarity with electrical codes and safety procedures. - Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues efficiently.
