Job Title: Electrician – Aquaculture Farm

Location: Puttagunta, Near Arugolanu. Andhra Pradesh.
Department: Utility
Reports to: Farm Manager

Job Purpose:

To ensure smooth and uninterrupted electrical operations of pumps, aerators, motors, lighting, and other farm equipment by carrying out preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Maintenance & Operations
• Install, operate, and maintain electrical systems, motors, aerators, water pumps, and generators.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical panels, wiring, and farm equipment.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply to ponds, hatcheries, feed mills, and other farm facilities.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in pumps, motors, and control systems.
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Maintain a logbook of electrical issues and corrective actions taken.
• Preventive Maintenance
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment.
• Regularly check earthing, circuit breakers, and load distribution.
• Safety & Compliance
• Follow all safety standards and ensure safe electrical practices.
• Comply with statutory norms, including local electricity board and farm safety requirements.
• Train workers on basic electrical safety awareness.

Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in industrial/farm electrical maintenance (aquaculture/fisheries experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of pumps, motors, aerators, and DG sets.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
