Electrical Wiring Harness Design Engineer

Your work as an Electrical Wiring Harness Design Engineer at Caterpillar Inc. plays a crucial role in shaping the world. As an Engineer in the Electrical Center of Excellence team, you will focus on designing and developing Electrical Wiring Harnesses for various Caterpillar machines. Your role involves contributing to the development process, performing electrical analysis, evaluating new products, and communicating results effectively. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop Electrical Wiring harness for various Caterpillar machines - Contribute to the development process - Perform electrical analysis and initiate ideas - Evaluate new products, processes, or systems - Communicate results to customers, suppliers, team members, and other business units - Perform product maintenance and resolve electrical design-related issues **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in electrical or electrical & electronics engineering - 1-3 years of experience in Automotive electrical or Heavy engineering electrical - Experience in Pro/E -Creo cabling - Excellent analytical skills and ability to perform complex assignments - Strong technical skills and ability to communicate effectively with team members, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders **Desired Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering - Pro/E -Creo Experience - Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) guidelines and methodologies - Understanding of effective communication concepts and techniques - Knowledge of product testing approaches, techniques, and tools **Additional Company Details:** Caterpillar Inc. is committed to building a better world through innovation and collaboration.
