As a member of Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in designing drives for upcoming brownfield electrification projects, leading discussions with clients, managing suppliers, and optimizing compressor selection with the best electrical drive system solution. Your day will involve interacting with sales managers, checking in with your team, confirming speed-torque curves for projects, and visiting local factories to stay updated on Siemens Energy's operations. - Increase Siemens Energy's profile as a leader in providing motor driven turbocompressors - Attend and lead discussions with clients for rotating equipment proposals - Create profit by managing multiple suppliers for transformer, drive, and motor electrical drive systems - Lead the technical strategy for electrical drive systems for motor driven compressor opportunities - Propose optimization of compressor selection with respect to the best electrical drive system solution - Lead a team and attract talented electrical engineers within the Siemens Energy Compression division - Hold a Bachelors of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline or related field - Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical systems with expertise in large electrical motors or variable speed drive systems - Possess market knowledge of rotating electrical machines and associated components - Knowledge of power system studies such as sub-synchronous torsional interaction analysis - Experience in leading technical discussions and designing solutions for integrating electrical drive systems for turbo-compressors - Extensive technological knowledge in the field of complex electrical drive systems acknowledged by colleagues and external experts Siemens Energy is focused on transforming the industrial sector by decarbonizing processes and increasing electrification and efficiency.
