An Electrical Technician for solar (also known as a solar technician or installer) installs, maintains, and repairs solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including panels, wiring, and inverters, on residential, commercial, and ground-mount systems. Responsibilities involve site assessment, reading blueprints, ensuring compliance with safety and electrical codes, testing system components, troubleshooting malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting system performance. This role requires strong practical and electrical skills, physical fitness for working at heights and carrying equipment, and comfort with both indoor and outdoor work environments.
