Ensure compliance with all electrical safety standards and statutory regulations at construction sites.
Inspect, test, and certify electrical installations, equipment, and temporary site wiring.
Identify potential electrical hazards and implement preventive measures.
Develop and enforce electrical safety procedures, lockouttagout (LOTO) practices, and PPE usage.
Investigate electrical incidents/near-misses and prepare corrective action reports.
Liaise with electrical inspectors and government authorities for inspections and approvals.
Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for site electricians and workers.
Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering with recognized Safety Certification (e.g., Safety Officer Course, NEBOSH, IOSH).
10+ years experience in electrical safety within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of Indian Electricity Rules, IS standards, and site safety codes.
Excellent hazard identification, problem-solving, and communication skills.
