About the Role

Voxmerge, as the recruitment partner for a leading renewable energy organization, is hiring a Project Officer to support the on-ground implementation and maintenance of solar mini-grids in East Nagaland.

The position is ideal for technically trained individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in solar energy systems while contributing to sustainable rural electrification.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, wiring, and commissioning of solar PV systems.
• Support day-to-day operation, maintenance, and fault rectification.
• Record energy generation and load utilization data.
• Coordinate with local operators for energy management and equipment upkeep.
• Conduct preventive inspections and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Eligibility

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy.
• 35 years of experience in solar PV installation, maintenance, or electrical fieldwork.
• Knowledge of DC/AC systems, grounding, and inverter operation.
• Willingness to relocate and work in rural field conditions.
• Language: Proficiency in Hindi and English; knowledge of Nagamese or Bengali preferred.

Compensation

Monthly package: ?20,000 ?30,000 (based on qualification and experience)

Shared accommodation and basic facilities provided at project sites.

Initial relocation support and onboarding in Kolkata.
