Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Building Maintenance Technician to perform electrical maintenance tasks and ensure the safe and efficient operation of building electrical systems. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems (lighting, wiring, panels, distribution boards, etc.).

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, including short circuits, faulty wiring, and power outages.

• Maintain and repair electrical fixtures such as switches, outlets, fans, and lighting systems.

• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety standards.

• Maintain proper documentation of inspections, repairs, and service records.

• Assist in the planning and implementation of electrical installations and upgrades.

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or equipment servicing.

• Monitor and manage energy usage and suggest energy-efficient solutions.

• Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly.

• Support other maintenance team members with general facility upkeep as needed.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/ITI/Certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in building electrical maintenance.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and safety practices.

• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Physically fit and able to work in a variety of environments (indoor/outdoor, heights, confined spaces).
