Electrical Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults in circuits, motors, control panels, and wiring.
• Install and maintain electrical components, including lighting systems, circuit breakers, transformers, and switchgear.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend the life of electrical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with engineers, maintenance personnel, and other team members to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and service history.
• Assist in energy efficiency initiatives and suggest improvements to reduce power consumption.
• Respond promptly to emergency electrical failures and breakdowns.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma, ITI,

• Experience:

  Minimum of [X] years in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and PLC troubleshooting (if applicable).
• Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA, NFPA, and local electrical codes.
• Ability to use electrical testing tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and insulation testers.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automation systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and industrial robotics.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Work Environment:

• May involve working in confined spaces, heights, or extreme temperatures.
• May require overtime, shift work, and being on-call for emergency repairs
