Electrical Incharge

Role & responsibilities:

• Supervise and maintain HT/LT power systems ensuring uninterrupted and safe operations.
  
• Manage operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of:
  

1. 3-phase LT/HT induction motors
2. VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) used in extrusion lines and downstream equipment
3. MCC (Motor Control Centers) and PCC (Power Control Centers)

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose root causes of electrical faults and breakdowns in systems such as:

1. MCC, PCC, HT panels
2. Electrical panels on extrusion lines, cooling systems, haul-offs, cutters, and laminators
   

• Ensure correct installation and performance of electrical components and machinery.
  
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  
• Maintain records of breakdowns, maintenance, energy usage, and improvements.
  
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company protocols.
  
• Monitor and manage maintenance budgets and assist in procurement decisions.

Preferred candidate profile:

Candidate should have a DEE(diploma in electrical engineering)

or should have BE(bachelors in electrical)

3 to 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing/industrial plant.

Should be familiar with HT/LT distribution, VFDs, PLC panels, and general plant electrical systems

Ability to work independently and manage a team of technicians.
