Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of all electrical equipment in the plant. Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems used in printing, feeding, and stacking machines. Operate and maintain electrical control panels , distribution boards, and MCCs. Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot VFD drives for motors across the printing line. Ensure minimum downtime and fast response during machine breakdowns. Maintain and update all electrical schematics, wiring layouts , and load distribution plans. Supervise and guide electricians and ensure safe electrical practices . Coordinate with the production team to align maintenance with printing schedules. Maintain inventory of spares and raise indents for critical components. Ensure compliance with safety norms , audits, and statutory electrical regulations. Monitor energy usage , analyze load patterns, and suggest improvements. Train staff on electrical safety, PLC basics, and equipment handling . Assist in installation and commissioning of new machines or upgrades .
