Job Description

Role Overview: Join Cisco's innovative engineering team where you will work closely with hardware, mechanical, software design, and manufacturing teams to ensure products meet manufacturability, cost, quality, and delivery requirements. Be part of a team that connects the unconnected and impacts communities worldwide. Key Responsibilities: - Review design and architecture from DFM, component technology, and EOL perspectives. - Provide technical support during NPI for prototype builds, ensuring cost and quality targets are met. - Manage change management activities during sustainment and work towards meeting factory and field quality metrics. - Drive value engineering activities to improve cost margins. - Support supply chain continuity and resiliency. Qualification Required: - Very good understanding of electronic product design and architecture. - Good knowledge of hardware interfaces (e.g., High-speed serial interfaces, PCIE, Ethernet, SATA, I2C). - Familiarity with PCB design, stack-ups, and Allegro; knowledge of Valor and DFM is a plus. - Experience in PCBA manufacturing, system build, and NPI process. - Understanding of product development process from concept to launch phase. - Ability to work with cross-functional teams and drive deliverables to closure. - Leadership skills for complex issue resolution.
