Electrical Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer - Wind at Newzen Green Energy India Pvt Ltd, located in Koraput, Odisha, you will be responsible for tasks related to electrical Line & Yard Work, and Sub Stations in wind energy projects. Your role will involve managing and overseeing the electrical line works of 33Kv/66kv power lines of WTG, overseeing the installation of switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, and other HT equipment, ensuring proper earthing, lightning protection, and control and protection systems are implemented in the HT yard, managing the electrical aspects of substation construction, conducting technical reviews of electrical drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation, preparing and submitting progress reports, ensuring adherence to safety standards, coordinating with internal teams and external contractors, and tracking daily progress of electrical construction activities. - Manage and oversee the electrical line works of 33Kv/66kv power lines of WTG - Oversee the installation of switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, and other HT equipment - Ensure proper earthing, lightning protection, and control and protection systems are implemented in the HT yard - Manage the electrical aspects of substation construction, including equipment installation, cable laying, and termination - Conduct technical reviews of electrical drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation for WTGs, line works, HTRs, and substations - Prepare and submit regular progress reports to Electrical Lead and the Project Manager - Ensure adherence to all relevant safety standards and regulations - Coordinate effectively with internal teams (civil, mechanical, project management), external contractors, consultants, and utility companies - Track and monitor daily progress of all electrical construction activities - Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university - 3+ years of experience in the construction of Wind Power Projects, with a strong focus on Transmission Lines and HT yards - Proven experience in leading and managing electrical teams,
