Electrical Engineer

We have an urgent job opening for one of our well known client

Designation-Electrical Engineer

Location-Hazira Gujarat near Surat

Status- 1 year of contract and further extendable candidate will be on agency payroll i.e MMK payroll

If candidate performance is good then after 1 year client will take candidate on their payroll.

• Operate and maintain

  electrical and instrumentation systems

  supporting the performance testing of alkaline electrolyzers.
• Monitor and control plant operation through the

  SCADA system

  , ensuring real-time accuracy and reliability.
• Operate and maintain

  rectifier systems, PLC systems, and associated control panels

  .
• Manage the operation and maintenance of

  VFDs, MCC panels, and sensors

  installed in N generation and IA systems, DM water package, chiller units, and cooling towers.
• Ensure proper

  interface, calibration, and troubleshooting

  of sensors, transmitters, flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature elements, and analyzers.
• Support the execution of

  cathode activation cycles

  with accurate real-time monitoring and data acquisition.
• Conduct

  periodic checks, testing, and calibration

  of fire detection and alarm systems, including sensors and relays.
• Maintain

  logs, backups, and documentation

  for instrumentation, SCADA systems, and plant operations.
• Prepare and update

  performance test reports, maintenance records, and error/fault reports

  .
• Oversee maintenance and operation of

  HV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, relays, and distribution systems

  .
• Support troubleshooting and corrective actions during electrical or instrumentation failures to minimize downtime.
• Ensure implementation of

  LOTO procedures, electrical safety practices, and compliance with statutory regulations

  .
• Assist in the development of

  SOPs, JSA, and HIRA

  for electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Provide

  training and guidance

  to operators/technicians for safe handling of electrical systems and instrumentation.

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation engineering.
• 25 years of experience in plant automation, PLC/SCADA, or process instrumentation.
• Hands-on experience in high current/voltage systems, rectifiers, and power supplies.
• Hands-on experience in sensors, control panel and PID.
