Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on foundry equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in
DISA
and
Savelli
molding machines.
Oversee electrical systems in
sand plants
, including mixers, conveyors, dust collectors, and reclamation systems.
Ensure uninterrupted operation of automation and control systems.
Calibrate and maintain PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, and other instrumentation.
Collaborate with mechanical, production, and instrumentation teams to reduce downtime.
Maintain maintenance logs, documentation, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Recommend and implement improvements for equipment reliability and efficiency.
Assist in planning and executing machine overhauls, upgrades, and new installations.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3
years of hands-on experience
in a
foundry environment
.
Proven expertise in electrical maintenance of
DISA
,
Savelli
, and sand plant machinery.
Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen Bradley preferred).
Strong understanding of industrial automation, control panels, and electrical safety.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
