Preferred candidate profile Ensure adherence to all statutory and company-specific safety regulations and protocols. Conduct routine inspections of foundry processes (melting, pouring, core making, fettling, etc.) to identify and mitigate risks. Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies, risk assessments, and safety improvement plans. Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective actions. Organize regular safety training and toolbox talks for all employees and contractors. Maintain safety records, including inspection checklists, training logs, and incident reports. Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, Factory Act, and GPCB/PCB safety guidelines. Coordinate emergency response drills (fire, spill, evacuation) and ensure readiness of all safety equipment. Monitor and enforce proper use of PPE, safety signage, and lockout/tagout procedures. Liaise with government authorities during inspections, audits, and accident investigations.

Manage and supervise all pattern shop personnel and activities. Plan and schedule pattern making, repairs, and modifications based on production requirements. Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure dimensional accuracy and pattern integrity. Ensure proper maintenance and storage of existing patterns, including tagging, cataloging, and record-keeping. Review engineering drawings and casting models to guide pattern development. Implement and maintain 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards. Manage inventory of pattern making materials, tools, and equipment. Drive process improvements to reduce lead time and improve pattern quality. Train and mentor pattern makers and apprentices. Collaborate with vendors or internal departments for outsourcing pattern work when required.

Key Responsibilities: Perform regular preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on foundry equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in DISA and Savelli molding machines. Oversee electrical systems in sand plants , including mixers, conveyors, dust collectors, and reclamation systems. Ensure uninterrupted operation of automation and control systems. Calibrate and maintain PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, and other instrumentation. Collaborate with mechanical, production, and instrumentation teams to reduce downtime. Maintain maintenance logs, documentation, and compliance with safety and environmental standards. Recommend and implement improvements for equipment reliability and efficiency. Assist in planning and executing machine overhauls, upgrades, and new installations. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a foundry environment . Proven expertise in electrical maintenance of DISA , Savelli , and sand plant machinery. Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen Bradley preferred). Strong understanding of industrial automation, control panels, and electrical safety.
