Electrical Engineer (Design)

As an Electrical Engineer responsible for solar power projects, your role involves planning and designing various aspects of the projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations. Your key responsibilities include: - Conducting site assessments, shadow analysis, and preparing layouts, SLD, and cable sizing - Selecting components, designing switchgears, SCADA systems, and switch yards - Designing transmission lines and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards In addition to the above, you are expected to have proficiency in the following software skills: - Required: MS Office, AutoCAD, and Sketchup - Optional: ETAP (considered an advantage) You should also have knowledge of relevant Indian Standards, IEC, and Codes for electrical design. Your tasks will involve evaluating site conditions, designing layouts, preparing electrical SLDs, and designing LV/HV systems. Furthermore, you will be responsible for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for authority approvals, supporting pre-bid and tendering processes, and overseeing construction activities through site visits.
