Job Description

Plan, execute, and oversee preventive and corrective electrical maintenance of all plant electrical systems (motors, switchgear, transformers, VFDs, PLCs, lighting, and power distribution). Supervise installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment. Conduct root cause analysis for recurring electrical issues and implement sustainable solutions. Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with relevant safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NEC). Collaborate with mechanical, instrumentation, and production teams for integrated plant operation. Develop and update electrical schematics, layouts, and equipment documentation. Manage and optimize energy usage across the plant to reduce power costs. Maintain inventory of critical electrical spares and coordinate procurement when needed. Train and guide electrical technicians and junior engineers. Lead electrical support during plant shutdowns and major overhauls.
