Electrical Designer

Electrical & Instrumentation Senior Designer/Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform

  Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) design

  and drafting for Oil & Gas projects.
• Use

  SP3D/S3D

  tools for

  equipment creation, layout extraction, smart sketching

  , and

  design of cable trays and trenches

  .
• Design and route

  cable trays, trenches, and associated electrical layouts

  ensuring compliance with project standards.
• Review and edit models and drawings in

  Navisworks

  for clash detection and coordination.
• Prepare, review, and update detailed engineering drawings and documentation.
  
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and project teams to ensure accurate and timely design deliverables.
  
• Maintain high standards of design quality, accuracy, and consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an

  Electrical & Instrumentation Designer

  in Oil & Gas or heavy engineering projects.

• Mandatory:

  Proficiency in

  SP3D/S3D

  software.

• Desirable:

  Experience with

  E3D

  ,

  SPEL

  ,

  AutoCAD

  , and

  Navisworks

  for reviewing and editing.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, cable tray routing, and instrumentation layout.
  
• Ability to create and modify equipment models and perform layout extraction in SP3D.
  
• Familiar with

  smart sketching

  tools and able to design

  cable trays and trenches

  accurately.
• Good understanding of project standards, specifications, and safety requirements.
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  
• Prior experience on Oil & Gas EPC projects.
