Electrical Design Engineer - Auxiliary

Role Overview: As an Auxiliary Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in understanding technical requirements for auxiliary power system networks to ensure the equipment and station run smoothly without any interruptions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety of the end equipment and HVDC station as a whole. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate knowledge in the design of MVS, LVS, Diesel Generator, Auxiliary/distribution Transformer & battery system. - Prepare SLD, List of loads/load list/feeder list. - Estimate material, equipment sizing activity (Diesel Generator & Auxiliary/Distribution transformer) and cable sizing (LV & MV). - Revisit the process and update it based on feedback. - Coordinate with project teams to understand required updates, support PLM activities. - Understand global standards and upgrade solutions accordingly. - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. - Minimum 5 to 8 years of work experience in Design of auxiliary power for substation/power plant/ Oil and gas. - HVDC Experience is preferred. - Knowledge of design principles and applicable standards within the technical field. - Knowledge & Skills in Eplan or Elecdes, NX or Teamcenter and PLM Tools. - Knowledge & Experience MS Office: Word, Excel. - Self-starter with the ability to own tasks through to completion, strong attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.,
