Job Description

As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing electrical commissioning activities for HVAC and fluid systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing and managing the electrical commissioning activities for HVAC, fluid systems, and related electrical infrastructure. - Performing detailed inspections and testing of electrical systems, including low/medium/high voltage switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, motor control centres (MCCs), power distribution, protection relays, and control systems. - Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and commissioning of electrical systems in compliance with design specifications. - Conducting functional testing and troubleshooting of electrical equipment, machinery, and control systems to ensure optimal performance. - Reviewing technical documents such as electrical drawings, specifications, and manuals to align commissioning activities with project requirements. - Collaborating closely with process engineers, mechanical engineers, and other departments to ensure integrated commissioning of HVAC systems and fluid systems. - Providing technical support during the installation phase, guiding the team in interpreting electrical drawings and specifications. - Developing and maintaining commissioning procedures, checklists, and reports to uphold quality standards. - Ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry regulations throughout all commissioning activities. - Identifying and resolving issues during the commissioning phase to minimize delays and adhere to project timelines. - Preparing and submitting commissioning reports and documentation required for project handover. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering. - Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on experience in electrical and process commissioning (HVAC and Fluids). - Strong understanding of HVAC systems, fluid systems, and related electrical equipment. - Experience with PLC systems, SCADA systems, and other automation/control systems. - In-depth knowledge of electrical commissioning practices, testing, and troubleshooting. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams). - Solid understanding of safety regulations, industry standards, and codes (e.g., IEC, NEC, etc.). - Experience with commissioning documentation, reports, and quality control procedures. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues promptly. Additionally, you should be willing to travel to project sites as required. Please note that this is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance. The preferred education requirement is a Bachelor's degree, and the minimum experience in electrical engineering should be 5 years. Proficiency in English language is required for this role. The work location is in person.,
