Electrical Assembler

As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies, or machines according to specifications by utilizing various wiring techniques. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Reading work orders, bills of materials, blueprints, and other instructions to determine the best assembly method. - Checking components for deviations from specifications before assembly. - Routing and bundling wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards. - Assembling control panels and enclosures, mounting components as per wiring diagrams, wire cutting & stripping, soldering, and crimping. - Troubleshooting panels as needed to eliminate wiring errors and component malfunctions. - Testing equipment operation and software. In addition to the primary responsibilities, you will also be expected to: - Work as per procedures and work instructions. - Perform production and assembly tasks as per drawings, circuit diagrams, and work orders. - Conduct first article and in-process inspections, recording results as required. - Maintain red line drawing mark-ups for changes during fabrication and wiring connections. - Communicate effectively with team members, leads, engineers, and Project Managers. - Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail. - Keep your work area clean and orderly. - Suggest improvements through CAR/PAR processes. Qualifications required for this role include: - Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation/Electrical with 3-4 years of experience. - Work experience in electrical panel building/assembly. - Strong understanding of interpreting and using drawings and electrical circuit diagrams. - Knowledge of electrical theory and terminology.
