Job Description

As a third-year apprentice at Impala Canada's Lac des Iles Mine, you will play a crucial role in assisting Electricians with the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of all electrical equipment both on the surface and underground. Your ability to follow directions, complete assigned tasks, and work effectively in a team environment will be essential for success in this position. You will be expected to be a self-starter, well-organized, and eager to learn and implement acquired knowledge in all areas of preventive maintenance. The work schedule will be on a Crew 3/4 rotation, with a 14x14 schedule. To excel in this role, you must have a valid Driver's License and possess proficiency in verbal and written communication, as well as computer skills (Word/Excel). Having Underground Common Core certification will be considered an asset. In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive remuneration package that includes an hourly wage of $40.87, health & medical insurance, a retirement savings plan, and a travel allowance. Meals will be provided while you are on-site at the mine.
