Description
As a MEPF Senior CAD Draftsman at our company located in the Greater Surat Area, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - **Detailed Drawing Creation**: - Develop complex 2D technical drawings, plans (floor plans, sections, elevations, details) and 3D model/sketchup (often using Revit for BIM) for all MEPF systems (HVAC, Electrical power/lighting, plumbing and fire safety). - **Design Translation**: - Convert engineers' sketches, specifications, calculations, and mark-ups into precise, professional CAD/BIM deliverables. - **As-Built Documentation**: - Prepare Final "As-Built" drawings and revisions reflecting all changes made during the construction process. - **Quality Assurance (QA/QC)**: - **Self and Peer Review**: Conduct rigorous self-reviews and peer reviews/approvals of drawings prepared by junior draftsmen to check for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before submission. - **Clash Coordination**: Actively participate in clash detection process (often using software like Navisworks or Revit) to identify and resolve spatial conflicts between different MEPF systems, as well as with architectural and structural elements. - **Compliance and Standards**: Ensure all drawings strictly adhere to project specifications, industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, local building codes), and company drafting standards. Qualifications: - Proficiency in CAD Standards, Technical Drawing, and Computer-Aided Design (CAD). - Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. - Strong skills in creating and managing detailed technical drawings. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork. - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. - ITI or diploma in engineering, in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical with 5 years of experience. - Relevant experience in a similar role is advantageous.
