Job Overview : Electrica Engineers Pvt Ltd is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Purchase department to handle procurement, vendor relations, and ensure timely development of new child parts. The ideal candidate should have a background in Automotive Electrical/Electronic/Plastic Fields, strong vendor management experience, and a focus on cost-saving initiatives. Key Responsibilities : Vendor Relations & Development : Develop and assess new vendors, track procurement timelines for child parts, and ensure no production loss due to shortages. Purchase Management : Handle daily purchase activities, including vendor selection and negotiation for the best techno-commercial offers. New Part Development : Track the development of new child parts, from sourcing to tooling and sample approval, ensuring delivery as per schedule. Cost Management : Manage and negotiate service contracts, tooling costs, and rate revisions for cost-saving opportunities. Audit Compliance : Prepare for IATF and customer audits, ensuring documentation and vendor processes meet audit requirements. Team Leadership : Lead a team of 3-4 people, guiding them in procurement, cost negotiation, and vendor assessments. Requirements : Educational Background : B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering. Experience : 8-12 years of experience in the automotive electrical/electronic/plastic fields, including procurement and vendor management. Technical Skills : Knowledge of plastic parts , PCBA , PCB , LED , passive components , wiring harnesses , bulbs , and rubber parts . Familiarity with service contracts , tool cost negotiation , and experience with IATF and Customer Audits . Specific Required Technical Key Skills : Knowledge of Electronic Manufacturing Systems . Ability to evaluate data sheets of raw materials such as LED and passive components . Preferred Qualifications : Experience in Tooling and Die development , managing timelines, and coordinating with suppliers. Strong understanding of Vendor assessment , C ost Impact Calculations , and Rate Revisions . Capabilities & Desired Characteristics : Detail-Oriented : Maintain accurate records of vendor activities and cost calculations. Techno-Commercial Expertise : Ability to manage and negotiate with vendors, finding opportunities for cost reduction. Leadership Skills : Lead a small team in purchase management and vendor coordination. Audit Preparedness : Experience preparing for and managing IATF and customer audits. Employee Benefits- 1.
